K3 Class – K3 Scope and Sequence

K3 students at DCS will learn the basic core principles in the following areas:

  1. Language Arts: Students learn the basics in sounds formation, name recognition, basic letters.
  2. Numbers: Students will learn simple concepts including counting 1-30 and number concepts 1-15.
  3. Bible: Students will learn hymns and choruses, Bible verses, Bible doctrine, and other lessons from Scripture.
  4. Arts and Music: Students participate in choir, music theory, and basic arts and crafts that help develop basic coordination and motor skills.

K4 Class – K4 Scope and Sequence

K4 students at DCS will learn the basic core principles in the following areas:

  1. Language Arts: Students learn the basics in phonics and reading, cursive writing, poetry, and language development.
  2. Numbers: Students will learn simple concepts including counting 1-100 and number concepts 1-20, and basic addition facts.
  3. Bible: Students will learn hymns and choruses, Bible verses, Bible doctrine, and other lessons from Scripture.
  4. Arts and Music: Students participate in choir, music theory, and basic arts and crafts that help develop basic coordination and motor skills.
