Spiritual Enrichment

Students hear God’s Word every day in Bible class or weekly chapels. Pastor Herchenroder and special speakers preach to our 6th-12th grade students each Monday in chapel. Every other year in the spring semester, we offer The War of Special Forces, a team from Minute Man Ministries. The War of Special Forces is a teen outreach, designed to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ and encourage teens in their walk with the Lord. Teens also have a lot of fun with huge three-way team competitions, good food, fellowship!

Recitals and Concerts

All students have the opportunity to participate in our annual Christmas program, which includes all the school choirs, band, speech, and other exciting things. Every year the whole school, staff and students, join together on stage for the Grand Finale. It is always an exciting time! Students may also participate in the spring concert and other special recitals featuring those who have taken lessons on their particular instruments. This is a great opportunity for kids to apply what they have learned in a performance setting.

6th-12th Grade Awards Banquet

Students in 6th-12th grade are invited to attend our annual Awards Banquet in the spring semester. Students are recognized for Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance, Sports, Fine Arts and Fine Arts Festival placements, Good Behavior, and Academic Excellence. Students and their parents look forward to a fun evening of enjoying a delicious catered dinner, spending time with friends, receiving awards for their hard work throughout the year!

Fine Arts State Competition for 9th-12th grade is held every year in March. Students sign up to compete in Academic Testing, Speech, Music, and Art categories. Students who qualify have the option to attend the national competition in Greenville, South Carolina in April.

Fine Arts Festival State Competition for 4th-8th grade is held every year in April. Students sign up to perform in Academic Testing, Speech, Music, and Art categories. Students receive a rating (Superior, Excellent, Good, etc.) and may earn ribbons for their accomplishments.

Senior Trip

Each spring, our senior class goes to Arizona for their senior trip. They raise funds for the trip in a variety of ways throughout the school year. Some of the special places we visit in Arizona includes the Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater, Sedona, Antelope Canyon, Red Mountain Volcano, Horseshoe Bend, Petrified Forest, and native American ruins! It is the trip of a lifetime!
